Privacy Policy

Revive helps you restore old, damaged, and faded photos. This policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using Revive you agree to this policy.

Information we process

• Photos you choose to restore. When you start a restore, the selected image is uploaded from your device to our service and on to our AI processing provider (see “Third-party processing” below) solely to produce the restored result, which is returned to your device. We do not store your photos in our own databases, and we do not use your photos to train any models.
• Account information (optional). If you create an account, we store your email address, an optional display name, and — if you use Sign in with Apple — the anonymous account identifier Apple provides. Restoring photos does not require an account.
• Technical usage data. To prevent abuse and enforce fair-use limits, we record a device identifier, your IP address, and the time of each successful restore. This is not linked to your account.

How we use your information

• To perform photo restoration and deliver the result to your device.
• To operate, secure, and enforce fair-use limits on the service.
• To maintain your account and let you access your history across devices, if you sign in.

Third-party processing

Restoration is performed by fal.ai, our AI processing provider. To produce a result, the image you submit is uploaded to fal.ai and the original and restored images are temporarily hosted on fal.ai’s content-delivery network so the result can be returned to you. fal.ai processes the image to provide the service and handles it under its own terms and privacy policy. We also use Apple for Sign in with Apple. We do not sell your data.

Data retention

• We do not retain your photos on our servers; they are processed transiently to return a result.
• Technical usage records are kept only as long as needed to enforce fair-use limits.
• Account information is kept until you delete your account.

Your choices and rights

You can permanently delete your account at any time from the Account screen in the App (“Delete account”). Deleting your account erases your account information from our servers. Restored photos you saved to your device remain on your device and under your control.

Children

Revive is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Security

Data in transit is protected with HTTPS, and credentials stored on your device are kept in the operating system’s secure storage. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
